Bite Mark

This is a bite mark on the leg of a 3.5-year-old boy who was a victim of assault, courtesy of Dr. Gus Karazulas, Forensic Odontologist. Several people were suspected of committing the assault. The Lucis-enhanced bite mark images provided sufficient compelling evidence that the suspect agreed to a plea of guilty.

The image used to produce the Lucis UI images was taken from a PowerPoint Presentation so it has lower resolution than the bite mark image originally used. The side-by-side images are the higher-quality original image and a magnified Lucis-processed image. At the time the Lucis image was created the color assign feature was not available to the image has red color shifts. The Lucis UI images do not have this color shift.
