Computer Requirements

Windows	A Windows XP or Vista computer (32-bit ) with 4 GB of RAM and Adobe Photoshop CS3 or Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 or higher. We are fixing an issue with using Lucis Pro 6 in computers with Windows Vista or XP 64-bit operating systems. A free upgrade will be provided when this fix is developed.
Macintosh	Intel Macintosh computer with OS 10.5 or higher and with 4 GB of RAM and Adobe Photoshop CS3 or Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 or higher. The Macintosh Lucis Pro 6.0 will not work in earlier versions of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Future Free Product Enhancements:

Photoshop CS4x64 and Windows XP and Vista 64-bit operating system compatibility. For a computer with a 64-bit operating system Photoshop CS4 can be installed as a 32-bit version (CS4) or as a 64-bit version (CS4x64). LucisArt 3 ED/SE works in Photoshop CS4. It does not work in Photoshop CS4x64. ICT will be developing a free upgrade so LucisArt 3 ED/SE will operate in Photoshop CS4x64. It is not known how long it will take to develop this upgrade. It depends on how many aspects of LucisArt 3 become broken when it is converted to a 64-bit format.

Extended Maximum Image Size: Lucis processing uses 4 times the image size in RAM. The theoretical maximum image size for LucisArt 3 and Lucis Pro 6.0 is 250 MB.  This maximum image size could be reduced if anything that could use RAM is not open- such as other programs, images, extra layers, etc.  If you attempt to process an image that is too large for the amount of RAM available you receive a message that tells you that there is not enough RAM for the LucisArt operation.

ICT will be developing a free upgrade for LucisArt 3 that will allow for processing very large images.  A "tile" image size will be created.  If the image is larger than this tile size it will be broken up into as many tiles as needed. Then each tile will be processed and then these processed tiles will be assembled into the processed image.  So large images will be processed more slowly.  Developing and testing this maximum image size increase feature and creating a software patch could take up to 3 months.  It is a large change. The upgrade will be free.
