As you move the Enhance Detail Slider to the left detail emerges everywhere in the image. As you move Smooth Detail Slider to the right detail is smoothed giving you a watercolor effect. If both sliders are moved then you have a combination of detail smoothing and feature enhancement- revealing contrast patters in the image. The slider being altered is highlighted in red.

The Gallery below consists of some screen shots showing the Lucis processing for one image when altering the Smooth Detail Slider and Enhance Detail Slider. When the Tie Together checkbox is checked the difference between the two slider values is fixed. Moving one slider moves the other one the same amount. As these images were produced without using the other UI controls you can start to picture how flexible Lucis processing is.
