Lucis processing operates on intensity information. Lucis Pro will shift colors in areas of the image. You may like or dislike these color shifts. The Assign Original image Color slider lets you assign all or a percentage of the original image’s colors to the LucisArt image. With LucisArt 2 you had to use layers and blend mode color to achieve the same result.

This feature saves time but it also greatly increases the flexibility of Lucis Pro processing. Lucis Pro has Split Channel mode where you can select and enhance each Red, Green and Blue Channel separately. This results in contrast and color shifts. Using the Assign Original Image Color slider you can keep the contrast shifts and eliminate the color shifts, as shown in the gallery examples below.
